Q: How do I get there?
A: We are located about 0.5 miles northeast of the CHINATOWN GOLD LINE METRO STATION, See parking details below.
Q: Is there parking available?
A: There is ample street parking in the area. Additionally, free parking is available in the wood chip parking lot OUTSIDE of the Los Angeles Historic State Park, 1425 N Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
**IF YOU PARK INSIDE THE LOS ANGELES HISTORIC STATE PARK, THE GATES WILL CLOSE AT 6PM**
Paid parking ($8/day) is available at 1756 Naud St. Los Angeles, CA 90012. For your convenience, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND public transportation, carpools, and ride share. The best address for ride share drop off is 1726 N. Spring St.
Q: How long does it take to go through the exhibit?
A: Approximately 1 to 2 hours.
Q: Are guided tours of the gallery available?
A: Yes, we will have free tours lead by trained docents available.
Groups will congregate outside the main entry to the gallery space.

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Animals are not permitted at WE RISE. The only exception is for service animals on a leash.
Q: Do you offer coat and stroller check?
A: We do not offer coat or stroller check. Strollers may be pushed through the exhibit.
Q: What is happening and where?
A: On our Community Stage and in the Art Lab, we have partnered with leading mental health and allied community organizations to produce over 80 hours of powerful panels, workshops, and live performances to help you learn, commune and turn ideas into action. Events on the Community Stage and the Art Lab have limited capacity. Please RSVP on the Event Calendar to reserve your spot for preferred events in the calendar. The Action Center is where you can take concrete action inspired by what you’ve seen in the Gallery and heard on the Community Stage. Learn more about all the awesome ways to get involved here.
Q: What additional resources are available to me?
A: We have trained mental health professionals stationed throughout the Gallery and in the Art Lab available for private consultation and support.
Q: Are tickets required?
A: Yes, RSVP via Eventbrite is required but all events are free and open. Please RSVP to the relevant links on the event calendar here.
Q: Can minors attend alone?
A: All minors under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult.
Q: What should I leave at home?
A: Weapons of any kind, illegal substance or paraphernalia, outside food/drinks, large umbrellas, large backpacks. Although we are showing the work of graffiti and street artists, graffiti materials of any sort are not permitted; no markers, spray paint, inks etc…save it for the streets. We reserve the right to deny entry for items not listed here that will impede the enjoyment or the safety for you and other attendees. In general, we ask that you try to think how you can make your visit a positive experience for all.

Q: Is food and drink allowed?
A: No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the exhibition.
Q: Will there be food and beverages sold at the event?
A: Complementary snacks and drinks will be available for the public in the Art Lab. At check in, you will receive tickets to redeem these refreshments. There is also a range of panini (including vegan option) for sale in the Art Lab.
Q: Can I take photos?
A: Yes, photography is allowed, however FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT PERMITTED. Please share on social media and be sure to to tag us!

Q: Does WE RISE contain flash photography?
A: Although flash photography is prohibited, attendees with flash sensitivity should note that flash photography may take place in public spaces with advanced warning.

A: The show is suitable for all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
